I was born and raised in Mexico City. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from Facultad de Ciencias-UNAM and a Master's degree in Statistics from IIMAS-UNAM, specializing in general knowledge exams in statistics, probability and analysis.
I pursued a Ph.D. in Statistics under the supervision of Prof. Stephen G. Walker at the University of Kent, UK.
